    Exceptional

Having a key to the front door enabled us the freedom to come and goes as we liked. Also the couple who own the Beechwood are both very helpful and friendly.

    We loved the Guest house

    Superb

The quality & cleanliness of rooms, bedding etc. Food was excellent. Owners friendly and helpful.

Would be beneficial if WiFi stronger ie in bedroom, signal in lounge area not a problem but personally I prefer to work in bedroom. Please take this aas constructive criticism as for many guests this would not be an issue.

We were greeted by our Host as my husband negotiated our car into the car park. He pointed out that our tyre was half flat, and gave us all the information we needed to get a quick repair before the local repair shop closed. He also offered to help us out in any way possible if the tyre needed replacing. We were delighted by our room, although quite small, it had a large comfy bed and a good shower and lots of hot water. The tea and coffee making facilities were very welcome. The Residents lounge is a nice touch, together with free internet. We left too early fopr breakfast but the menu looked wonderful.

Excellent ambience, attitude of owners, quality and choice for breakfast altogether a very pleasant weekend break at a price which compared most favourably with other venues we have stayed in Scotland.

    Fabulous

The owner was an extremely helpful and knowledgeable chap, and did his best to make our stay as pleasant as possible.

The Guest House advertises as dog friendly, this is true except for the charge of £ 5.00 for what was described as "Deep Clean" of the carpets after the dogs were in the room, only problem was the floor was laminate flooring so felt the excuse to take a small amount extra was a poor one.

    Very good

I only had 1 overnight stay at the Guest House, as my return flight from Malta arrived back at Glasgow Prestwick just before midnight on a Sunday evening and this was too late to travel home. The room was very comfortable and to my satisfaction.
